Meet the Author:
Stephen Hampton is an outdoorsman who enjoys hiking and camping, spending time at Lake Michigan, and spending time at home with his dogs.
Having lived through a violent encounter in his youth, he can recall how instinctual the OODA loop was for him. He could relate to the color-coded system: red meant danger; it was now time to act. Trapped with no escape, a 12-year-old boy formulated a plan to protect the others who froze. He now works as a security contractor. The business allows him to work on exciting assignments. They range from armed security and executive protection to investigation and covert surveillance. He branched out on his own to offer home security risk assessment and security upgrades.
